Networking for strong European electronics

In the age of AI, personal interaction is more important than ever:

Reliable partners and inspiring conversations – the ideas for tomorrow’s electronics strategy aren’t found behind a laptop screen, but through dialogue with customers, partners and suppliers – and those who aspire to become partners.

That is why CHANGE LIGHT-LY is active primarily in Germany, Austria and France, to get to know Europe’s ‘hidden champions’ and work with them to shape the European electronics industry of tomorrow.

EMS Day 2026

Workshop on increasing turnover through networking and visibility

Jasmin Konnegen | Sandra Paggen-Breu | Susanne Braun
Three women – one passion: electronics

Together, the three electronics experts – who are sometimes jokingly referred to as ‘EMS activists’ – organised a workshop at the annual EMS Day in Würzburg to share their experiences with EMS service providers from

specialist journalism, EMS strategy, LinkedIn and website design

Jasmin was particularly able to look back on the successful turnaround she had achieved with SRM Mikroelektronik since 2024.

Her strategy:
to showcase expertise, find reliable partners, leverage her own strengths, and increase efficiency and quality through modern tools specifically designed for the electronics sector.

IFA 2026

Interview on the Expert Stage

As part of the International Radio Exhibition, which takes place every September in Berlin, the founder of CHANGE LIGHT-LY – Jasmin Konnegen – gave an interview to Bob Snyder about the challenges facing electronics supply chains today and tomorrow.

With humour and optimism, the two discussed Jasmin’s experiences in corporate restructuring and her motto that every crisis is an opportunity.

Both take a relaxed view of the new requirements regarding repairability and spare parts for consumer electronics:

Examples from the automotive industry and medical technology have long shown us how obsolescence management can be successfully implemented even over decades.

Austrian Electronics Innovation Summit – June 2026

A joint project by ProudlyEngineered in Europe and the FED

Specialist presentations are important – but networking and personal interaction are even more important.

That is why CHANGE LIGHT-LY, together with its partners bee produced, Kewano, SRM Mikroelektronik and Pick2Place, organised a pre-event for the popular FED event “Austrian Electronics Day”.

Together with Jürgen Braunsteiner, who represents the FED in Austria, an industry-specific programme was put together featuring keynote talks aimed at fostering innovation and raising the profile of the ‘hidden champions’ in the electronics sector.

Verena Kuen hosted the evening and, in the opening keynote, discussed transformation and innovation across various European sectors with Jasmin Konnegen:

It is not just the electronics sector but all other European sectors that are facing profound cultural and technological changes, which the pair are ready to tackle with motivation, optimism and curiosity.

Of course, plenty of time was also set aside for networking:

As the AEIS took place alongside the 2026 Football World Cup, participants were able to chat at their leisure on the steps whilst enjoying a top-class football match, beer and sausages.

This made it easier even for the more introverted technical experts to strike up a conversation, and a lively professional exchange quickly developed – covering football, electronics, innovation and quality.

Anyone wishing to find out more about the people they were talking to could do so at the exhibition, which had already been set up for the following day.

PCB Design Days Toulouse – June 2026

On the road on behalf of the hard-working bees from Vienna

Bee Produced
PCB Design Days Toulouse

bee produced is one of CHANGE LIGHT-LY’s key partners and, through its customer portal, offers a forward-looking solution for European EMS service providers.

As the founder of CHANGE LIGHT-LY holds this solution in high regard – not only for her EMS partner SRM Mikroelektronik – she is happy to represent bee produced in our lovely neighbouring country whenever knowledge of French is required.

At the Global Electronics PCB Design Day in Toulouse, she was not only able to forge valuable contacts in France but also learnt about the European success story of the printed circuit board manufacturer CSI:

In 2024, the Toulouse plant was set alight during riots and completely destroyed.

In just two years, CSI managed to rebuild the plant on the same site and resume production with state-of-the-art machinery and its trusted workforce.

Regional group meeting at EBK

Sales and humanity in the age of AI

Interview Change Light Ly

As a founding member of ProudlyEngineeredInEurope, CHANGE LIGHT-LY, together with its partner SRM Mikroelektronik, organised a FED regional group meeting at the EBK Group in Berlin-Adlershof in March 2026.

The event centred on an active exchange between the speakers and participants, featuring a varied programme of keynote presentations, moderated panel discussions on stage and a comprehensive tour of the company.

CHANGE LIGHT-LY moderated the afternoon’s proceedings and opened the event with a keynote speech on the opportunities offered by European collaboration.

 An overview of the afternoon

  1. Keynote: Greater resilience for Europe’s electronics sector through cooperation – using Germany, France and Poland as examples
  2. Interview: Personal electronics sales across generations and in the age of AI
  3. Expert discussion with and guided tour of EBK: Automated analysis of supply chain and production data for smoother operational start-up

Embedded World 2026

First anniversary of the start of a partnership

Bee Produced

Having first forged their partnership at embedded world 2025 – when CHANGE LIGHT-LY was seeking a suitable customer portal for its partner SRM Mikroelektronik – it was only natural that the anniversary should be celebrated at embedded world 2026.

As in the previous year, bee produced was present as an exhibitor in the StartUp Area – this time supported by CHANGE LIGHT-LY, so that French visitors could receive advice at any time without any language barriers.

Embedded World stands out for having the most diverse, largest and most innovative StartUp Area to be found at any German electronics trade fair.

As in the previous year, CHANGE LIGHT-LY encountered exciting ideas from across Europe, demonstrating that products ‘ProudlyEngineeredInEurope’ are still world-class.

SIDO Lyon 2025

After the ProudlyEngineeredInEurope network was officially launched in August 2025, its founding members met for the first time at Productronica:

bee produved and chipsconnect were even there as exhibitors – CHANGE LIGHT-LY and SRM Mikroelektronik were always welcome at their stands to chat with visitors and, of course, to make plans together for 2026.

EMS Day 2025

Impromptu talk with chipsconnect

Reliable partners are irreplaceable!

At the EMS Day 2026, chipsconnect presented its collaborative solution for European EMS providers – CHANGE LIGHT-LY had actually only intended to network as a participant and look out for innovative solutions for the industry.

However, chipsconnect recognised the opportunity to jointly deliver a keynote presentation on ‘ProudlyEngineeredInEurope’ and European collaboration, enabling both companies to share their approaches to greater autonomy for Europe’s electronics sector with the audience.

SIDO Lyon 2025

On tour with bee produced for the first time

Bee Produced
SIDO Lyon 2025

The SIDO in Lyon marked the official launch of a long-term partnership. CHANGE LIGHT-LY was a guest at the bee produced stand for the first time and, together with its partners from Vienna, held interesting discussions on the subject of electronics.

The French electronics industry is strong, independent and highly conscious of data integrity and data protection.

On-premises hosting and proprietary LLMs play a central role in AI solutions for the electronics sector. This is also one of bee produced’s strengths: having its own LLM, servers in Germany and on-premises solutions are a matter of course here.

For our in-person events in Berlin, Paris, Strasbourg, Salzburg and Vienna, we are regularly on the lookout for interesting production companies that would like to host these events!

We take care of the organisation and the speakers – the host has the opportunity to showcase their expertise and give participants a tour of their production facilities.

To ensure a personal exchange and optimal networking, we aim for an attendance of between 30 and 50 people.

Please get in touch if you too would like to become a host for Europe’s electronics industry!
